Our next production is The State of Washington: Untold Tales, Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20, at the Mountain Room at 3100 Airport Way S. We opened our last production with one performance at the Mountain Room, and it went so well that we’re back for the full run. All three performances will begin at 6:00 pm. Our cast of Misaki Teranishi, Christina Williams, Brandy Briones, Juli Brown, Aiden Wolf and Kevin Finney will perform the plays of Aiden Wolf, Mimi Katano, Josephine Fogle and Rachel Rauch. Margaret O’Donnell and Miriam Tobin will read some of their poetry, and Mike Goldfine and friends will provide the music.

We still love the Saloon! We’ll continue to stage readings there on the third Sunday of (nearly) each month; the only exceptions are production months (currently January, May and September) and June. Please join your host Kevin Finney, the Drunken Owl Theatre actors, a rotation of musical acts and poets and many special guests for a monthly show of original creative works read before a live audience without a net! The historic Jules Maes Saloon (5919 Airport Way S, Seattle) features a generous selection of libations and vittles. Seating in the exclusive theater space opens at 4:30 pm on the third Sunday of each month. Trouble begins promptly at 5:00 pm.
