It pays to have a guest director!

Having worked hard on the May production, I was happy to take a break in the month of June. Before I sat down to write this post, I read a newsletter from Guest Director Kirsten McCory (whose plays we’ve read and who has acted at DOT several times) and saw that she had already written everything needed:

AN UNNERVINGLY ENTERTAINING
DRUNKEN OWL THEATRE SHOW WILL BE TAKING PLACE THIS NIGHT, (7:20:25)  AT JULES MAES SALOON IN GEORGETOWN, WA., U.S.A.

THERE HAVE BEEN REPORTS ALL WEEK OF STRANGE SIGHTINGS TAKING PLACE IN THE THEATER AND OUTSIDE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, INCLUDING MULTIPLE ROD SERLING LOOK-ALIKES WANDERING AIMLESSLY AND TATER TOTS THAT RESEMBLE JESUS CHRIST.

(BE SURE TO ATTEND THE SHOW TO REALLY EXPERIENCE THE PHENOMENON FOR YOURSELF!)

The D.O.T. Zone:

Playwrights Dan Green, Carolynne Wilcox, Vincent Kovar, Elena Naskova and John C. Davenport share their work, and we’ll hear a chilling poem by Miriam BC Tobin.

And we are  so lucky to have Elizabeth Dilley, Adrian Cerrato, Val Aguirre, James Lyle and Jana Blumberg, Michael Hickey and Kevin Finney as our featured actors.

Epiphyte will provide the tunes…
