Meet the Actors for the November 2022 Production of Three Short Plays

Three actors will cover all (yes, all!) the roles in the three short plays of November’s Drunken Owl Theatre Production. Although the three are familiar to Drunken Owl Theatre audiences, in this first full production for DOT, audiences will get to see these three display their impressive range in a single outing. (See, below for show and ticket information.)

Kirsten Mccory: is a performer, writer, voice over artist and art model. She enjoys exploring the darker side of imaginary worlds and inspiring others.  Kirsten will appear in all three plays and cover FIVE roles. She will be Frankie in Scott Stolnack’s The Devil and the Bootleggers, Mona in Suzanne Bailie’s Mel and Mona, and three very different sea creatures in Pamela Hobart Carter’s Vagabond Lives of the Barnacle Poets.

Jana Blumberg: is delighted to perform in the first ever Drunken Owl full-scale production! She’s very grateful to Kevin Finney for asking her to be in all three plays. Originally from the Chicagoland area, Jana has now lived here six years and loves DOT. She thanks Jules Maes for providing the venue and the audience for coming out to see the performance. Without the audience, we’d just be talking to ourselves.  Jana plays Nick in Scott Stolnack’s The Devil and the Bootleggers, Mel in Suzanne Bailie’s Mel and Mona, and Briny in Pamela Hobart Carter’s Vagabond Lives of the Barnacle Poets.

Peter Murray: After some time away, Peter is thrilled to be resurfacing on stage with Drunken Owl Theatre. He has previously appeared in the Seattle area with GreenStage, Annex Theatre, Theater Schmeater, and Wooden O Theatre to name a few. Many thanks to Kevin Finney for initially striking up a conversation, and to Kelly, for thinking this is a good idea. Please continue to support live theater and music. Peter plays Jake in Scott Stolnack’s The Devil and the Bootleggers and Sloan in Pamela Hobart Carter’s Vagabond Lives of the Barnacle Poets.

There will be two performances of all three plays, which means twice the chance to come join us. Tickets (at a mere $10 apiece) can and are best purchased in advance using the links below. Please note there is a separate link for each show, one at 3:00 pm and one at 6:00 pm. All shows are at Jules Maes Saloon, located at 5919 Airport Way, S., Seattle.
