A message from the Artistic Director:
Welcome to Drunken Owl Theatre’s Ninth production. We’ve grown this year in may ways: lots of new musical acts have played, a guest director stepped up, we took the show on the road, and a poetry anthology has been published. Next month our reading will connect to the Union Arts production of “Shrew.” Thank you for supporting the performing arts and joining our growing community.

Valeria Aguirre (actress) started acting by studying the Stanislavski method almost two years ago, and has been fully immersed in the Seattle acting community ever since then. This is her third Drunken Owl performance, and she can confidently say they have all been incredibly fun and very different from one another. When she’s not acting, she’s running a food truck in Issaquah!”

Alex Anderson (Sound and Lights Operator; she/her) is a musician, teacher, sound engineer, and PNW lifer. She has been gigging locally for the better part of 15 years, most recently in the bands Floral Tattoo and Look at the Bones.

As a young man, Kevin Finney (Artistic Director, playwright, poet, singer, emcee, grandpa) acted in summer stock on the East Coast. He was John Ritter’s stand-in in the film “Real Men,” and had a song and dance gig in a Japanese amusement park. In the Seattle area, he’s acted at ArtsWest, Burien Actors Theatre, As If Theatre, and Phoenix Theatre. Since 2018 most of his creative energy has gone into directing Drunken Owl Theatre.

Caitlin Gilman (playwright) contributed frequently in Drunken Owl’s Parliament Tavern days. This is her first play for DOT in the Jules Maes era. She has written for the Kenmore Quickies and Phoenix Theatre’s 24 Hour festival, and her full-length plays have been seen at Annex Theatre (My Dear Miss Chancellor), Ghost Light Theatricals (Life is a Dream), and Edmonds Driftwood Players First Draft readings series. Love to Jalyn and The Beans!

Mike Goldfine (musician) began playing drums at the age of ten and switched to bass as a teenager. Following his mother’s lead, he played in the orchestra pit for several theatrical productions in the Puget Sound area and made his acting debut in “Twelfth Night.” He plays bass and drums in several local bands and has played at Drunken Owl many times.

Sumant Gupta (actor) is privileged to return to the Drunken Owl stage. He is grateful to the immensely creative playwrights, the talented cast & crew and our lovely supportive audience for helping fulfill his life mission to be silly and serious concurrently.
