Drunken Owl Theatre and As If Theatre have a mutually beneficial relationship. I’ve found actors and playwrights at As If that have brought their work to DOT. We’ve borrowed and lent set pieces and curtains, and I’ve learned a lot watching As If operate. If you can brave or evade the I-5 North mess this weekend, come on up to Kenmore. Our next reading is Sunday, August 17 at 5:00 pm: “I Need a Vacation.” Chrstina Williams, Valeria Aguirre, James Lyle and Peter Murray will read plays by Romney Humphrey, Barbara Lindsay, Suzi Bailie, Pamela Hobart Carter and L. Scot Bastian. Judith Camann will share her poetry and John Pinetree Paynich will provide the music. A good time is guaranteed for all!

Remember, you save a few bucks when you purchase tickets in advance.
