“Days of Wine and Whimsy” are coming.

Rehearsals are well underway for Drunken Owl’s 8th full production. The weather’s warming up, the days are getting longer and just in time for Memorial Day Weekend, 5/23 – 5/25, we offer some whimsical music, poetry and theatre. A cast of Jillian Faulk, Christina Williams, Adrian Cerrato and Jeremy Raddick will perform plays by Barbara Lindsay, Miriam Tobin, Anna Tatelman, Eric Thompson and Kevin Finney. The Unsung Trio, Eric Thompson, Max Nachlinger and Damian Bradley will play original music by Eric upon which we based one of our plays. We’ll go easy on the poetry this time around; Kevin Finney will read a couple of short poems, one by Ogden Nash and one by Anonymous.

This month Chef Lashae offers pan-seared lemon butter cod fillet with mushroom risotto, and a Surf and Turf option, 6oz NY strip steak with 4 jumbo shrimp, fried potatoes, and grilled asparagus. Yum! If you haven’t tried one of the specials at our shows, you’re missing out.

The weekend after our production at Jules Maes Saloon, we’re taking our show on the road to Concrete, WA.

We’ll play one night only, Saturday, May 31st, and we’re still raising funds to make to cover transportation and lodging costs. You can help send us to Concrete by buying tickets to our production. If you can’t make it to our show (and even if you can), please consider buying a handsome Drunken Owl pint glass for $10.
