Join us at the Jules Maes Saloon on Sunday, August 18 at 5:00 pm for a show inspired by “Sugar Magnolia” by the Grateful Dead. We’ll read plays by Miriam Tobin, Carolynne Wilcox, Mark Rosen and Audra Lord. The Brews Brothers return to provide the music as well as the poetry. A good time is guaranteed for all!

More Extra-Curricular Activity

Drunken Owl Theatre’s house band, the Bard Owls, are headed for the big time. We have a gig booked at Tim’s Tavern in White Center at 3:00 pm on Saturday 9/14. Tim’s (Together in Music) is a wonderful music venue where we’ve enjoyed many shows. We’ll post a reminder with ticket info soon.
Help!

W could use a hand in several areas. First and foremost, we’re looking for a costumer for our September production.
Also, we need to borrow a pick-up to pick up some lumber (one piece of 4’x8′) in West Seattle.
Lastly, why not dream big? We’ve been renting a U-Haul to serve as dressing room / green room for our productions; the cost is the rough equivalent of two stipends for performers. If you have a motor home you could lend to our next production, “Tales of Georgetown,” 9/27 – 9/29, we promise not to turn it into a meth lab.
Anyone interested should contact Kevin at ksfinns@comcast.net.
